1.hindsight 後見之明
  • the ability to understand an event or situation only after it has happened.
  • With the benefit of hindsight, this is perhaps an obvious point.
2.downright 徹頭徹尾
  • (especially of something badextremely or very great
  • She's being downright unhelpful and obstructive.
3.schizophrenia 精神分裂症
  • serious mental illness in which someone cannot understand what is real and what is imaginary.
  • He was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
4.in the midst of 在...中間
  • in the middle of an event, situation, or activity.
  • The new office center sits in the midst of a luxurious park.
5.glamorous 迷人的
  • attractive in an exciting and special way.
  • She was a glamorous woman.
6.call to account 被責令(對...) 作出解釋;受到追究
  • to be forced to explain something you did wrong, and usually to be punished.
  • We must ensure that the people responsible for the violence are called to account.

Hi, I am Tippi. I am from Miaoli.  I graduated from the department of  international business of National Taichung University of Science and Technology, and majored in Finance of National Taipei University of Business now. I am independent, freedom-loving, optimistic person.  I like to try different things and make friends. I have been to the Philippines and Qinghai in China to be a international volunteer. I thought it was a wonderful experience. And I planned to work exchange in the Green Island in July this year. I had a part-time job in the Mister Donut. I tried to find a balance between work and study.  Hope everything will be fine!

Thought on the talk: Inside the mind of a master procrastinator

1. Do you procrastinate sometimes? I usually procrastinate. It's a very common things to everyone. If you don't , maybe you are the most strangest person in the world. 2. What are some of the things you procrastinate on? Everything . For example, homework, housework, preparing exam or something not emergency but important like exercising is the things I procrastinate on. Although I would plan schedule, I always broke it. And I knew it's a bad habit, but I can't change it.  There's a saying that goes "The best laid plans." 3. What are strategies you can use to combat procrastination. I tried to combat procrastination like writing the schedule down.  But it's not useful, I still put on till the deadline.  And now I change my mind, I don't need to be a perfect person like others.  I just need to complete things before deadline and it's an efficient way to me.  If something is enough important, I won't procrastinate, I will do it quickly.  And ...
